Hoxie hosted the basketball game at the Robert Hick's Gymnasium with the Walnut Ridge Bobcats Senior A and B teams. The Mustang Senior B Team defeated the Bobcats with a score of 57 to 35. The Bobcat's Senior A Team defeated the Mustang's A Team with a score of 57 to 53 in a closely contested game.

The Black Rock Lady Zebra Junior A versus Hillcrest Lady Screaming Eagle ended with a score of 38 to 36 in favor of the Black Rock Lady Zebras.
The Lady Zebra Junior B versus the Lady Screaming Eagles ended with a score of 14 to 9 in favor of the Screaming Eagles.
The Black Rock Zebra Junior A boys versus Hillcrest Screaming Eagles resulted in a score of 28 to 29 in favor of the Screaming Eagles.
Black Rock Zebra Junior B boys versus the Screaming Eagles resulted in a score of 10 to 8 in favor of the Zebras.

The Walnut Ridge Bobcats Junior and Senior boys hosted the basketball game against the Piggott Mohawks, January 3, 2005, in the Sharum Gymnasium.
Piggott Junior boys defeated the Junior Bobcat boys with a score of 45 to 34.
The Walnut Ridge Senior Bobcats defeated the Piggott Mohawks with a score of 53 to 49.

The Pocahontas Lady Redskins went on the warpath Friday evening January 6, 2006, at the Robert Hicks Gymnasium on the Lady Mustangs. The Mustang Junior B team lost to the Lady Redskins with a score of 44 to 10. The Lady Mustang Junior Girl's team lost to the Lady Redskins with a score of 26 to 36. The Senior Lady Mustangs lost to the Lady Redskins with a score of 32 to 40.

Walnut Ridge Lady Bobcats Jr. Girls played BIC's Lady Mustangs at Walnut Ridge with Hoxie Lady Mustang Jr Girls winning the first game with a score of 51 to 11.
The Lady Mustangs Sr. Girls lost to BIC's Lady Mustangs with a score of 46 to 37.

The Hoxie Mustangs hosted the basketball game, January 10, 2006, with the Westside Warriors at Hoxie.

The Lady Mustang Sr Girls won the game with the Lady Warriors Sr Girls with a close score of 52 to 51.
The Mustang Jr Boys lost to the Westside Warriors Jr Boys with a score of 27 to 55 in the Warriors' favor.
The Mustang Sr Boys also lost to the Westside Warriors Sr Boys with a score of 56 to 67, Warriors' favor.

The Walnut Ridge 7th gd Lady Bobcats played against the Izard County Lady Mohawks at Walnut Ridge with the ending score of 21 to 10 in favor of the Lady Bobcats.
The Jr Lady Bobcats trailed the Lady Mohawks at halftime with a score of 15 to 21 in favor of the Lady Mohawks.

The Hoxie Lady Mustangs traveled to Swifton to play in the Kell Classic Tournament against the Izard County Lady Cougars. The ending score had the Lady Mustangs ahead of the Lady Cougars with a score of 57 to 42 which advances the Lady Mustangs up to the Simi Finals.

Hoxie Lady Mustangs played the Highland Lady Rebels in the Simi Finals of the Kell Classic Tournament in Swifton, January 13, 2006. Highland Lady Rebels overcame the Lady Mustangs with a score of 46 to 36.

The Lady Mustangs played the Final Match in the Kell Classic Tournament at Swifton against Newport's Lady Greyhounds, January 14, 3006, with the winning score, in over time, of 49 to 45 in the Greyhounds favor.

The Corning Bobcats pitted their skills in the Finals against Maynard's Titans and walked away with the 2006 Kell Classic Tournament First Place Trophy with a score of 56 to 50.

Walnut Ridge Jr Lady Bobcats hosted the game versus Maynard Lady Tigers, January 16th, 2006, in the Walnut Ridge School Gym. The Maynard Jr Lady Tigers overcame the Jr Lady Bobcats with a score of 47 to 37.
The Sr Lady Bobcats were ahead of the Lady Tigers until the ending of the fourth quarter where the Lady Tigers closely defeated the Lady Bobcats in the last few minutes of the game. I didn't notice the ending score and if anyone has the score and wouldn't mind either emailing me or phoning and providing the score I'll be more than happy to update the information.

The Walnut Ridge Bobcat Jr Boys and the Riverside Rebels Jr Boys went into three minutes overtime with a score of 31 to 31 only to loose to the Rebels with a score of 33 to 34.
The Walnut Ridge Bobcat Sr Boys went into a four minute overtime with the Riverside Rebels Sr Boys with a score of 45 to 45 only to go into a second four minute overtime that ended with a score of 65 to 59 in favor of the Bobcats.

The Walnut Ridge 7th Grade Lady Bobcats gave Lake City's Riverside Lady Rebels a run for their money during the game but the ending score was 17 to 31 Riverside's favor.
The Walnut Ridge Jr Lady Bobcats opposed Lake City's Riverside Lady Rebels and lost to the Lady Rebels with a score of 22 to 34.
The Walnut Ridge Sr Lady Bobcats, in their Homecoming Game, played the Lake City's Riverside Lady Rebels down to the wire. Neck to neck all the way to the last quarter the Lady Rebels pulled ahead and won the game with the score of 44 to 47, winning in the last few minutes of the game.

Homecoming Royalty and Car Bash:
The Walnut Ridge Jr Bobcats were defeated by the Jr Rector Cougars with a score of 23 to 27.
The Homecoming royalty was presented to the community in a formal setting with the Homecoming Queen, Alexa Smelser; Maid of Honor, Jennifer Roacho; Senior Maid of Honor, Kim Morris; Junior Maid of Honor, Courtney Allen, Sophomore Maid of Honor, Jessica Osbaha and Freshman Maid of Honor, Amber Caldwell all escorted by Walnut Ridge Bobcat players.
The Senior Class had a scrap vehicle to use in their "Car Bash" in a effort to raise money for the Senior Prom later in the year. Students were permitted to clobber the vehicle with a sledge hammer for a dollar for two swings or five for two dollars. It seemed that the Senior Class may be on their way to fund their Prom.

The 7th Grade Lady Mustangs were defeated by the 7th Grade Lady Bearcats with a score of 28 to 35.
The Hoxie Jr Lady Mustangs defeated Brookland Bearcats 52 to 35.
The Hoxie Senior Lady Mustangs defeated the Brookland Bearcats with the ending score of 71 to 40.

Tuesday night brought a challenge to Imboden's Sloan Hendrix's Greyhouhds when the Calico Rock Priates pitted their Junior Girls, Senior Girls and Senior Boys against the Greyhounds.
The Junior Lady Greyhounds were defeated by the Junior Lady Pirates with a score of 21 to 34.
The Senior Lady Greyhounds defeated the Senior Lady Pirates with a score of 56 to 50 in a closely played game.
The Senior Boys Greyhounds defeated the Senior Boys Pirates with a score of 72 to 36, dominating the game through out the match.

Lynn's Hillcrest Screaming Eagles traveled to Imboden to play the Imboden Sloan Hendrix's Greyhounds Thursday, January 26, 2006, with their Junior and Senior Girls as well as the Senior Boys teams.
The Junior Lady Greyhounds defeated the Junior Lady Screaming Eagles with a score of 44 to 39 in overtime.
The Senior Lady Greyhounds defeated the Senior Lady Screaming Eagles with a score of 61 to 58 with the deciding score made in the last seconds of the game.
The Senior Boys Greyhounds defended their record by defeating the Senior Boys Screaming Eagles with a score o 59 to 53 in the finial minutes of the game.

Walnut Ridge Bobcats played the BIC Mustangs at Walnut Ridge Friday evening, January 27, 2006, with the Junior Boys Bobcats being defeated by the BIC Mustangs with a score of 49 to 52.
Walnut Ridge High School held a Senior Appreciation Ceremony, acknowledging Senior Cheerleaders and Basketball Players.
The Senior Bobcats were defeated in the final minutes of the game by the BIC Mustangs with a score of 68 to 72.

Hoxie High School hosted the basketball game pitting Hoxie's Senior Lady Mustangs against the Walnut Ridge Senior Lady Bobcats Monday, February 6, 2006 at Grider Gym. The Mustangs took the lead early in the game and didn't relent through out the game which ended with a score of 62 to 34 in the Lady Mustang's favor.

Hoxie Mustangs Senior Girls and Senior Boys pitted their skills in games in the Robert W. Hicks Gymnasium, February 9, 2006, with the Senior Lady Mustangs and the Black Rock Senior Lady Zebras starting the evening games and ending in a score of 64 to 35 in favor of the Lady Mustangs.
The Hoxie Seniors that have been active in various school activities as well as the sports programs were honored in a pre game ceremony.
The Senior Boys Mustangs challenged the Black Rock Senior Zebras that ended in a score of 67 to 50 in favor of the Hoxie Mustangs.

The Hoxie Mustang 6th Grade Girls versus Lynn/Strawberry's Hillcrest 6th Grade Girls; Hoxie Mustang 5th Grade Boys versus Lynn/Strawberry's Hillcrest 5th Grade Boys; Hoxie Mustang 6th Grade Boys versus Lynn/Strawberry's Hillcrest 6th Grade Boys.

Hoxie Mustangs hosted games consisting of the 5th and 6th grade boys and girls against the Walnut Ridge Bobcats.

The 6th grade Girls had the Hoxie Jr. Lady Mustangs had the Walnut Ridge Jr. Lady Mustangs down by 25 to 2 by game's end. The 6th grade Jr. Mustangs defeated the Walnut Ridge 6th grade Jr. Bobcats 33 to 19.

Walnut Ridge PeeWee Bobcats faced off against ICB Eagles Friday evening, December 29, 2006, at Sherum Gym. The 5th Grade Bobcats were defeated by the Eagles with a score of 13 to 27. The 6th Grade Bobcats were defeated by the Eagles with a score of 18 to 40.
