Walnut Ridge made it in the finals of the Randolph County Baseball Association Tournament on Saturday morning, March 3, 2007. The Walnut Ridge 6th grade Bobcats defeated the Jonesboro Lakers with a score of 37 to 45 in favor of the Bobcats in the first game of the morning. The 5th grade Lady Bobcats played against Wilson's Lady Bulldogs in the day's third game and defeated the Lady Bulldogs with a score of 14 to 20. The Lady Bobcats were defeated playing Wilson Lady Bulldogs for the second time of the day with a score of 18 to 8 winning second place in the tournament. The 6th grade Bobcats defeated the NEA Rebels with a score of 60 to 50 winning the First Place in the tournament.
