Monday afternoon, March 10, 2008, saw the beginning of the Lawrence County PeeWee Basketball Tournament at the Black Rock High School Gym. The following teams were in play Monday evening: 5th Grade Girls Hoxie Lady Mustangs versus Black Rock Lady Zebras which ended in a score of 20 to 8 in favor of the Lady Mustangs; 5th Grade Boys Hillcrest Screamin' Eagles versus Black Rock Zebras which ended with a score of 7 to 11 in favor of the Zebras; 6th Grade Girls Hillcrest Lady Screamin' Eagles versus Black Rock Lady Zebras which ended in a score of 18 to 5 in favor of the Lady Screamin' Eagles; 6th Grade Boys had Black Rock Zebras versus Sloan Hendrix Greyhounds which ended in a score of 31 to 14 in favor of the Zebras.
