The Walnut Ridge Junior Bobcats faced off the Cave City Cavemen at Walnut Ridge with a resulting score of 32 to 18 in the Bobcat's favor. Walnut Ridge Bobcats forfeited to Cross County Consolidated Thunderbirds on their last game of the season. It wasn't the Bobcat players, their fans nor any of the Thunderbird's fan's fault that the game was forfeited, but rather the lack of referees that didn't show for the game.

All in all it was one of the best football games that I've never seen played and a enjoyable occasion even with the disappointment of not seeing the Bobcat's last football game of the season.

The Hoxie Mustangs played the Corning Bobacts Thursday evening at Grider Field during their Senior Night where they acknowledged their Seniors on the football team as well as those in the Hoxie Mustang Marching Band. The game ended with the Mustangs being victorious over the Bobcats with a score of 27 to 7.
