The Hoxie Mustangs hosted games Saturday morning, September 8, 2007, against the Newport Greyhounds in the fourth, fifth and sixth grade teams. The fifth grade game ended in a score of 12 to 0 in favor of the Greyhounds; the fourth grand game ended in a score of 20 to 12 in favor of the Mustang with the sixth grande game ended in a score of 30 to 0 in favor of the Greyhounds.
