MVA at Highway 67 and Highway 63 junction on the bypass at Hoxie, Monday afternoon. The Quality Foods transport truck was reported making a U turn on the North bound lane of the 63 by pass just north of the Highway 67 junction when it was struck by another North bound transport truck involving the cab and trailer of the truck making the U turn and the cab of the truck that struck it.
No one was injured and the only concern was diesel fuel spilling from a ruptured fuel tank on the Quality Foods transport truck. Hazmat was called out to handle the spill in short time.

With hundreds of folks braving the cold weather, many entrants showed their stuff during the Hoxie Christmas Parade that was held Monday night, December 4, 2006.

Monday evening, December 11, 2006, a single vehicle left the road, Hwy 67 South, and struck a power pole resulting in both Walnut Ridge and Hoxie being without power for over a hour. No injuries were reported.
