The Hoxie and Walnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments were called out to a residential fire on N.E. 4th in Hoxie approximately 10:30 P.M. Hoxie and Walnut Ridge Departments worked together and had the fire put out in short time. The electrical service provided a bit of light and sparks as well as providing a air of danger working around the live wires for the firemen. The electric company finially made it to the house to clip the access from the telephone pole.
