Fire Department controls traffic
Jan 29, 2008

Tuesday afternoon, January 29, 2008, the Walnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Free Street and Highway 412 in a effort to prevent traffic from entering Free Street from Highway 412 due to a telephone pole giving way in today's wind. The pole effected leans precariously to the right as the wind causes it to bob up and down on it's wires that are holding the pole up.
