Old Davidsonville Easter Egg Hunt 06

Old Davidsonville State Park, near Pocahontas, hosted dozens of children of all ages for a afternoon's Easter Egg hunt. Prizes were given away with specially selected plastic eggs that the children would find and then redeem from the Park Rangers following the egg hunt. While the younger hunters were a bit slower, the eldest group acted like a vacuum cleaner, quickly cleaning their roped off area. It appeared that everyone enjoyed the Easter egg hunt at the park.
