I noticed in quite a few albums, that the description, African, is seen as something bad/backward/insulting. Well, I am proud to say I am an African. I am from Edo State, Nigeria, and live in Ireland. There is no offence taken, I just thought it would be nice to put a real face to a description ;)

Happy New Year!

I keep planning to do more "out" hairstyles, but it never happens! So this year my hair resolution is to only do out hairstyles - no twists braids etc.

It is amazing how differently people percieve you with different hairstyles. So many people have complimented my hair and asked how I style and 'maintain' it, which is strange, cause I remember when I first went natural (I cannot believe it is twelve years!) I got more negetive than positive comments when my hair was out. How times change!

I will post some pictures from the end of the last year, and try and update more frequently this year.
