The track sure does look like Bristol, TN.

Great photos. What track is this? First time I've seen this car in color. Anyone know what year and make this car is? Had to be the best era of racing ever.

I watched Friday run this little jewl in Nashville back in June of '62 or '63............he was chasing Jimmy Griggs in the blue 709 most of the night. Griggs was hard to beat there for a while. I was 10 or 11 years old, and I am still building models of these particular cars today at 56. Great photo site ! What "Sweet" memories.

Friday Hassler was a great one. Griggs ran a two and three car team, his others drivers often blocking for him when he got out front.
