...anyone know who and/or where this was taken? If I'm not mistaken, this is a Dates Chassis, built by Kemp Dates of Red Creek, NY. Kemp was a top runner in the mid/late 70's at Oswego Speedway. ---GREAT collection of pics!
Armond Holley on the right in the #22 "Double Deuce". He later broke his collarbone in this car and was helped by Bill White of Temple, Texas in driving and sorting out his new supermod, #2.

Les Hemby - You said that you would send me a picture of my father, Katron Sosebee that no one has ever seen. Please with the photo. Judy Arnold judy.arnold@huber.com
As far as i know, this car was driven by Fred Moore, who owned it and later by Bill Roynon.I believe Bob Herrin drove Rebel 1 which was owned by someone in Mississippi.
I used to see Armond Holley drive a supermod at Five Flags Speedway, but his number then was 22 (Double Deuce.) This guy was utterly fearless in these cars.
Got to see Mr. Herrin race many times at Five Flags and Mobile in the 60's. I don't remember if I saw this car or not, but he was driving a supermodified back then.
