Bobby: If Jerry Massey says this is indeed Grayson`s backyard I now am sure I was correct,go ahead bet the farm. I will guess the mid 50`s. I was there quite a few times, hard to forget a backyard with this much racing technology. Not kidding at all, these race cars or any that were wrenched by Grayson and his men were strong runners and big winners. The white chev coupe sitting in front of the #709 could be the # 1 driven by Massey sister car of the #709. Back in the day when racers were racers. This is the way it was.
Bobby; I was really young way back when really old now but if my memory is somewhat intact this photo might be Grayson Rose`s backyard on Tuscaloosa Avenue in the West End area. I know the #69 Penn owned Sorrowful Jones car was at Grayson`s house a lot. The decor of the backyard also seems correct. Could I be right? Lot of years don`t bet the farm.
