Set in the 1870s, while on his way to see his sick father, a young man named Ernst Haeckel (Derek Cecil) takes shelter with an elderly man (Tom McBeath) and his young wife (Leela Savasta) but soon discovers their horrible secrets of her appetite for human flesh, and her master Montesquino (Jon Polito), a necrophiliac whom has the ability to raise the dead.
