I often face this problem. Flying a lot myself, especially on tiny planes, I am tempted to take pictures of the landscape, I only had a few come out all right. The windows, usually dirty, ha-ha, ruin everything. You pulled it off. Great job! ______________________________
My window dirty also in lower 1/3, so couldn't use that part of window.
