Had to look this one up...never seen one before. Are you certain of this one Al? "The book" indicates a greater probability that this is a Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus); perhaps an immature. The White-faced should have a clearly visible white outline between the bill and the head. And the noticeable irridescense on the wing would also fit the profile of a Glossy. ___________________________________
