OUTSTANDING
great work, cute litle animal but chapeau for the photographer!
Just AWESOME picture! superb, what can we say more!beautiful!!!!
Mike sent me here....he knows I love blue...wow Al, this is simply beautiful!
Eastern Fox Squirrel (Sciurus niger)
Cyanocitta cristata
Thyrothorus ludovicianus; I had to look this one up. We don't have many of these in the Glen and I don't recall ever seeing one before.
Picoides pubescens; male
Carduelis tristis
Parus bicolor; first kin to the Black-capped Chickadee (Parus atricapillus)
Cardinalis cardinalis; fantastic shot!
Melanerpes carolinus; female
Rufous-sided Towhee (Pipilo erythrophthalamus)
Accipiter cooperii; that round tail is really evident in this shot. It's often confused with the Sharp-shinned Hawk (Accipiter striatus) which has a more square shape on the tail and is a bit smaller. Well done.
Passerina cyanea; beautiful shot.
Pheucticus ludovicianus; I have to get a 600mm lens.
