My passion...birds

It's amazing how many different birds you see sometimes. These were all taken on the same day.

    Bluetit ( parus caeruleus )
Eating is always hard work! Especially when someone is hiding his cookies, or someone else is eating them up, before you can get one, and after all that, you are not allowed to have a little piece of scones for some reason!!

Those biscuits that Sheila had were delicious!

Hedge sparrow or dunnock ( prunella modularis )
So you did what to get this fantastic pic??
Cast a spell on it? If I kiss him, will it be a prince??

I stand still for ages Tina, then the birds come quite close. That's how I get these pictures. If I move, they move too!!

To which pond have you been, Andy? It is wonderful! And all those birds are living here together?

    ********************

It's brickyard pond again Tina....there's plenty of fish for these cormorants...I once counted 11 here.

Two more swans and a fairly old cygnet.
Aaah, like the little ugly duckling in Hans Christian Anderson´s fairy-tale!

    ******************

I'm sure this cygnet will grow up to be beautiful...I think it already is.
