A tour to look for colours of Autumn. Unfortunatly we were a bit to early for the real colours.....

A new dark month with some single visits from the sun

The darkest month ever here. Only "daylight" was at the evening the 30/dec and I snaped some pics of the setting sun.

I´ll add pictures as things happened here as I don´t have much to picture around me this time of the year.

In this collage I have tried to frame some of them.

The last ones are from a tour to Kinnekulle with Monica to check out the fallcolours.

The first five pictures is from a tour by bus and boat around/across our largest lake, Vänern, and the most pictures is from the tour at Dalslands Canal....
The next four pictures are just sunny evenings at lake Vänern.....
The last five are from a bikingtrip along Göta canal 07 09 20....

Some pictures from the events 2007-06-02 in Sjötorp. This weekend every year always starts our summer season of visitors.

And as always some flower pictures......

Kinnekulle is the largest mountain in our region. We(Monica and me) had just few stops today and here´s some pictures from that. We were to late at the season for the cherry tree blossoms. There is thousands and more thousands of them and the mountain is almost covered in white when one hit the right time for their blossoms/bloms---Kinnekulle är det största berget i vårt område. Idag gjorde vi(Monica och jag) bara ett fåtal stopp och här är några bilder från dessa. Vi kom för sent på säsongen för att se de blommande körsbärsträden. Det finns tusen och åter tusen träd och berget är nästan helt klätt i vitt om man kommer dit i rätt tid när de blommar

It´s a little dark because it´s between 06.00-07.00 in the morning......

Last week we had a few days with a little feeling of Spring. Unfortunatly it was hunted away by coldness and even a little snow again------Förra veckan hade vi några dagar med lite känning av våren. Tyvärr jagades den iväg av kyla och även lite snö igen........

A walk in my surroundings to check the damages two days later. This is where I take my usual daily walks. It was not so easy today.........

This is a little greeting to my friends in Finland Merike(Lovejoy) and Laura(Grandmacool) with hope that this storm not reach them. That was not fun at all. No electricity, no coffee, no food for several hours, for sure not fun at all. Dear Lady-Friends, I hope the storm will blow over before it reaches your country..............................

The whole November was very stormy, dark and rainy here. We had a couple of days with below zero and that was wonderful with a little more daylight, but now we are back to the darkness again

By his reflection entry in the former contest my friend Yair inspired me to take a closer look in the puddles instead of just passing by at distance. Thank you Yair, there is so much to find.

Some photos just to show my wonderful little village. We are only about 500 ppl who lives here the year around. Summertime we are ten times more with all our precious visitors from all over the world.
The area I show with my pictures is the largest place for us to get together.
From the middle of August to the middle of May we have no café, no restaurant no nothing but each others and beautiful surroundings.
From the middle of May--middle August we have everything.
So many people visit our little village and 2007 Göta chanal is celebrateing 175 years of age and that will be great..............

I use many kind of mushrooms to colour yarn and silk. Every time I get different colour from the same art depending on how they grow, where and when I picked them , and how old they are.....

I went asleep with the rain pounding at my windows and woke up to this white world. Many leaves still remains on the bushes and some even wear next years flowers, poor things...

My dear friends from meadows and deep woods say goodbye for this year and that they will come and visit next year again, always reliable.
