Left home for a bikingtour and saw these beauties at the harbour-parking in Sjötorp.
A couple of hours later on my way back home I met them at the bikingway along the canal.
Not generelly allowed for cars but with special permission it´s possible.

This is how the boats, mostly bargers, were moved forward when the canal opened in 1832 . So it´s because of that we have the bikingway beside the canal these days. Then it was at both sides the canal but only one´s saved. Partly the other side´s possible for walks. As curiosa for the tourists this ox is pulling the ship between two locks to express the feeling of old times.

Wen´t for a long bikingtour passed Norrquarn just in time for this event.
It´s Sixten the ox pulling Bellevue forward to amuse the tourists(always does).
As you probably can see the boat was filled to the last place.
It was quite fun and the captain rewarded him with fresh buns mouth to mouth afterwards.
The people around were very amused.
I was so occupied with picturing it that I didn´t know how close to me Sixten was until he licked my lens.
That´s why the people at the ship is laughing (214).
