Climb to the top of Monserrate, the mountain hugging Bogotâ from the east side, to witness spectacular views of the city, spreading itself for miles to the north and the south along the mountain ridge and far into the west.

A top of the mountain is a church "Compasión de Christo", built in the 17th century and a typical local souvenir market.
