Going Westbound on reopened Westbound I-10 Twin Spans over Lake Pontchartrain thus restoring full 4 lane capacity in both directions. The missing sections have been replaced with metal bridging but no shoulders.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway went through Hurricane Katrina relatively unscathed except for the unused former turnaround on the older southbound span.

A lot of control city BGSes use the 3di shields for 2di Interstates

When will Beaumont change the next Eastbound control city on I-10 to read Lake Charles intead of Baton Rouge? Okay, if TXDoT only lists control cities with a minimum 100,000 population when will they change the sign to read Lafayette which in the 2000 Census
