The new Library of Alexandria. One of my favorite things I saw in Egypt.

The place of the pyramids and sphinx. About 30km south of Cairo. Great day trip.

A complex of military and religious buildings, including 2 mosques, one very old, in Cairo.

Cairo and the Khan al Khalili market.

The smallest national park in Kenya, near the Ugandan border, home of the sitatunga semi-aquatic antelope.

Run by the Mt. Kenya Safari Club, they have a bongo repatriation/repopulation project going to put bongos back on the mountain.

Aberdare mountains just west of Mt. Kenya, home of wild bongos and melanic bushbuck.

Looking for lesser kudu in southeast Kenya.

Almost 2 weeks in the north-central desert of Namibia. Pics numbered chronologically. I'll upload more pics when I get home. These are just some highlights.

Oh yeah - I stayed in this resort over Valentine's Day. Wendy and I got the special (though we declined the candlelit dinner). Not bad!
