I have a fascination with old industrial plant, junk, and ruins. These places and things are rich in rusting metal, with lovely warm colors and textures, and baroque shapes.

Floriade 2002: "feel the art of nature"

The Floriade is the world horticultural exhibition in the Netherlands. The Floriade is held once every ten years - the event in 2002 will be the fifth. Floriade 2002 will run from Saturday 6 April until Sunday 20 October near Amsterdam

The first photos are those I'll be submitting to the next Canon Talk Forum challenge, on Black and White portraits. I get to submit 6!

These are the photos I've taken for the Canon Users Forum "Slants" competition. The theme "is 'a new slant'. The challenge is to take pictures from unusual angles.
Anything other than standing up, camera at eye level and horizontal. The subject can be anything ..., but it should be shown from a new and different perspective."

I'll choose the best 3 to submit. Your input on what "the best 3" are is appreciated!
