Congratulations. My hair is the current length of your 2004 photo. My goal is to reach my hips. I am anxious. Thanks to people like you I know that I can achieve my goal. I was told that Black people could not grow long hair unless we were biracial even though as a little girl my hair reached my middle back below BSL. Many of the people spreading these lies were hairdressers. They also told me that if I wanted long hair I would have to trim it every 4 weeks. Which makes no sense if you are trying to achieve length then cutting it will do the opposite. I am currently natural and hairdresser free. Keep up the good work and remember to treat your hair like gold and silk.
