Photos of Tom Kellogg-designed Studebaker Avanti two-seat prototype coupe built 1989-1992. Tom Kellogg was one of the three designers selected by Raymond Loewy in 1961 to design the original Avanti four-seat coupe. They presented Studebaker management a working design in an incredible five weeks and the car went into production just a year later.
More photos will be added as time allows.
The composite photos come from a shot of the car taken at the historic Tustin Garage in Tustin, California by Richard Truesdell. The additional graphic elements were incorporated into the image by Brian Veit to give the building a look circa 1963 if it had been an actual Studebaker dealership.
