This is an absolute classic of female loveliness, pure Ingres. Truly inspiring, HS. So much so that I downloaded the photo and used your sumptuous profile ( minus the hat and the air-bed ) to decorate a pot ( in a series I'm doing for an exhibition...all with nudes.) If it comes through the firing OK, I'll post a photo.

Actually, Jez, EVERYONE was only wearing a smile: it was a naturist place in Norfolk - and one of the few sunny days that week! Which tends to account for the whiteness of the skin, az!!

It's the alabaster skin I find so striking in this photo. Although she is lying out in the sun her skin looks totally untouched by the sun. Lovely photo, really.
