A biweekly Sunday picnic in the Bay Area at Edgewood County Park is heavily attended by the Odessa natives now living here. This week was no exception

Despite the holiday weekend 200 (full house) dedicated Odessa natives now living in the Bay Area came to celebrate our publication's birthday. A wonderful concert program put together by Mikhail Margulis, our editorial board member was a hit. Mikhail Petrenko, another board member displayed his art works. Especially popular where his works from Baykal. Our guests read their poetic greetings and wished Odesskiy Listok many years of prosperity.

This party was also known as Den' Zaschitnika Otechestva.

The forth open Russian Paintball Tournament organized by West East weekly and Totus Group was cosponsored by Baraban.Com . Our home team, Gusari took the 1st place.

17th annual San Francisco Russian Festival was held the weekend of 2/11 - 2/13. www.Baraban.Com was a general sponsor this year.

An evening dedicated to Savely Kramarov - a premier of a new documentary about his life. The movie's screenwriter and director, Mikhail Feinshteyn and Kramarov's widow were present.

First in Silicon Valley's history Israel Gala organized by the Russian-sepaking Jewish community. Over 250 of all ages attended.
