I've had this Castor oil for a while now. I usually just put it in my spray bottle or in my Shea Butter moisturizer, I don't usually use it directly onto my hair, but the other day I poured some in my hands and rubbed it into my hair after no pooing. The smell was mild but a bit wierd, but it left my hair super soft and moisturized. So I think it's about time the Castor Oil made it into my album!

I just starting using this a few days ago to oil my scalp and I really like it. the best oil so far. Although my scalp drinks this up, like every other oil, I find myself oiling my scalp twice a day. still worth it though.

I love castor oil, but every time I smell it I am reminded of back to school or traveling 'washouts' the bottle reminded me too - purgative

    --------------

LoL my mother swore by senna bush, so I don't have any traumatic childhood experiences with Castor Oil! I guess that's why I can use it =)

I love castor oil!!....it seems to have humectant qualities, b/c it draws moisture from the air, that is why the hair feels sooo soft & moist ...I like to put some on dry hair before a deep scalp cleansing to prevent my hair from drying out too much...I also add a bit to my diluted conditioner as a leave-in..it keeps hair soft all day long!!

I loove Castor Oil too! I use it on my ends alot too.

cool - I use this on my hair and my skin. it is very soothing. I also smooth a layer of this onto each braid or twist before unraveling a twistout or braidout. keeps the hair from getting dry or crunchy.

hmm That is a cool tip! I must remember that for future twist outs.

I have been reading about black castor oil. So I called my mom in TT and she said the seeds used to make that oil is growing wild in TT. You may want to look into that.

    I will, Thanks!
