This is so creamy and melts easily into the hair and scalp. And a little goes a looong way.

- Melt some pure Shea Butter in the microwave until partially melted / softened.

- Add the oils and other good stuff and mix everything together with a fork to break up any little bits of Shea butter then let the mixture harden.

- After it has solidified a bit, (I usually put it in the fridge to speed things up!) whip it again with the fork until creamy.

- Store in an airtight container.

Things I usually add to my Shea Butter:
- Olive Oil
- Infused Oils
- Coconut Oil
- Castor Oil
- Carrot Oil
- Africa's Best Herbal Oil
- Glycerine
- Honey
- Peppermint Oil (only a few drops)
- Banana Oil (just to give the mixture a yummy smell)

Of course I dont add all this in any given batch but different combinations of them.

Yeh, you could get at Vishnu's hairdressing salon. He has one in Chaguanus and one in Woodbrook. It is the real thing. Pricey but worth it. Should I leave his numbers here or if you prefer you could send and e-mail to me and I'll give you his numbers then.

    ----------------------------

Could you leave the info as a private message in my guest book? THANKS SSOOOO much! I live in Port of Spain so I think I will go to the one in Woodbrook.

I use a shea butter mix mostly on the ends of my hair to prevent it from drying out. I love it to the max. Check it out:

    1 tbsp Shea Butter
1/2 tbsp Aveda Elixir leave-in conditioner
    1/2 tbsp Conditioner
    1 tsp Jojoba Oil
    1 tsp Shea Butter oil
1/4 tsp any other oil that I may have on hand.

    ----------------------

hmm this sounds yummy! Where did you find the Aveda hair products down here? I always looking out for them and I can't find them.
