Nature's Blessings - Hair Pomade

Rating 5

A new found LOVE! Again Renz hooked me up wid this. Can anyone find a nicer cuzin than mine? eh? I dare yuh!!

Smells are important to me, and when I opened this it had a mild, fresh, smell. It almost smelled like my baby nephew, which is a good smell, but the jury is still out on that one! But, I digress... this has a nice mild smell, it's very light, but moisturizes well, which is good for my fine hair. A little goes a long way.
It was nice to find a pomade that didnt have beezwax and petrolatum. The ingredients are: Nettle,Rosemary,Sage,Pepermint, Thyme, Alfalfa, Pure Virgin Olive Oil, Pure Coconut Oil, Sage Oil, Rosemary Oil, Bergamont Oil, Chlorophyll (from nettle and spinach), Pure Mineral Jelly, Natural Fragrance and Good Intention. =)
My only problem with this product is availability, but we will see, i'll keep my eyes open for it here.

UPDATE: OK so I am walkin in Port of Spain doin a lil shopping and I went into a road side stall lookin for headwraps and lo and behold I bounce up on a rastaman selling this!
I wanted to buy about 4 of them at once! LOL but he only had one more left, so I bought that one. =) sooo happy to have found this here! It was over priced but at least until I can survive on this one until I go to visit my cuz Kari in NY, then I will stock up on some more.

i saw this in a beauty supply store in brooklyn and taught of u how does this work ?

    ---------------------------

This works well on my hair and scalp. I find it works best when I put on damp hair.

Correct me if I am wrong...isn't the "Pure Mineral Jelly" another name for Petroelum/Mineral oil?...I am not sure but I do know that companies like to use different names "aliases" for petroleum derived ingredients...in the end I guess It doesn't really matter if your hair responds well to this product!!

    ----------------------------

I sure hope not! I use this on my scalp after washing =(
I have to check that out.

Hey, I have been looking for something to give good moisture during the winter here in nyc. After reading this post I googled "Nature's Blessing" and found a website ( http://www.houseofnubian.com/IBS/SimpleCat/Product/asp/product-id/30086.html) that sells and ships in and out of the states. You can buy one, or a whole box of 10! I'll let you know what I think after I get it.

There is a shop in ATL that sells both this product (which I love), raw shea butter and pure coconut oil (which has a wonderful softening effect). It is called Mutana's and they do ship!!

    ------------------

I wonder if they ship out of the states? Goin to do some research now.
