I spent a little time with my hummingbirds. They are interesting to watch and photo if they would just stop bickering so much. It must be the sugar in the feeder!

These are airplanes at the 2008 XFC. Some are taken between rain showers and storms. Don't buy them as they are small sized.

This was a fun event, most were two helicopter teams. The photos with a dark gray background were taken between hard rainstorms. Please excuse the clarity. These are small so don't try to buy any.....

There were 86 pilots who bought some great airplanes. Although the wind was outrageously fast (15-30+ mph) the pilots did a great job flying their masterpieces. I think they are going to make some T-Shirts saying, "I Survived the 2008 Windy Julep Scale Contest".

Due to the cross winds there were some interesting landings. It was a tribute to the good flying skills of the pilots that they flew without more breakage.

This is a great B-17 built by Greg Hahn. It flies beautifully but in this event the capability was shown in an exceptional manner. The cross winds were between 15 to 30+ mph throughout the contest. The meet should be renamed the Windy Mint Julep Scale Contest.

These are from the Kentucky Jets Flyin held in Lebanon, Kentucky. Don't buy them as they are in low rez.

Giant Scale Racing well done. Unfortunately the noise and speed doesn't come through in the photos. However the racing was simply great and the folks involved were also great.
