The NKYA Pirates took on the Cardinals on Monday night at the Middle School. The Cards got the 4-2 win.

THe NKYA machine pitch Pirates faced off against the Nationals. The Nationals took a 3-0 lead and the Pirates battled back to score two runs late in the game as the Nats hung on for the 3-2 win.

New Kent Youth Association Baseball Opening Ceremonies at the Middle School were held on Saturday, April 12th. All teams were present and introduced to officially kick off the 2008 season.

After several rainouts, the Pirates finally played their first game of the season. The Pirates came away with the 3-1 victory thanks to a second inning 2 RBI home run by Matthew.
