- We left early...really early on Sunday moring and headed to Shenandoah National Park to start the day. We were met with some awesome photo ops with deer, mountains, and other scenery. From there, we went to Covington and explored around the area some more including West Virgina. We had a grand time and saw amazing things.

- I went to Denver for a Ventyx User's Conference. While there, I went to Coors Field for a Yankees-Rockies game and saw the Yanks lose! Yay! We then had a private event at Mile-High Stadium. That is a neat place. I seperated the pics out for the various events of the week.

20081130 Thanksgiving Trip to Chincoteague - Nov 30, 2008

We headed to Chincoteague on Black Friday for the first time ever at this time of year. We had hear ...more d about the snow geese migration and also wanted to check out the service road side of the wildlife loop which is only open during this weekend. The week of Thanksgiving is Waterfowl Week on the island and there were a ton of birders on hand. The snow geese migration was an amazing sight. In talking with birders there, the numbers were less than they had been earlier in the week. It truly was a sight to behold and needs to be experienced in person, pictures just don't do it justice. We headed to the beach for a short summer trip to stay with relatives visiting from Germany. Despit ...more e a couple gloomy days, we made the best of it and saw some amazing sights and had new experiences. 20071123 Black Friday Trip to Skyline Drive - Nov 23, 2007

We got up at 4am and hit the road. We got to Skyline Drive entrance at 6:30 and had the place to ou ...more rselves. We hit Big Meadows around 7am and had a bunch of deer with us. We saw mostly does and juveniles, but had a few bucks today also. It was very, very cold and wind blowing a gale, so we mostly stayed in the vehicle.
