| | All Rights Reserved | - T.I. Store (before and after)
Before Hurricane Isabel, the Taylor's Island Store was a "not so finely aged" bar/restaurant, a food, beer, liquor carryout, and grocery store. You could also buy gasoline, some auto supplies, fishing gear/bait, even rent movies. It also acted as the contact office for the on location marina. It was a wonderful water front place to spend some time. Lots of character and local color. THEN... Hurricane Isabel - Well it's gone. It became a restaurant (The Island Grille). It lost it's character. gear/bait, even rent movies. It also acted as the contact office for the on location marina. It was a wonderful water front place to spend some time. Lots of character and local color.
