Here are pictures from the walk we took on the buttom of the ocean. It was very fun thing to experience, and easy to do. They just put a 60lb helmet on your head, and pump the air so you can breath normally and lower you to the bottom. From there you walk holding against a rail, and watch fish swim by. Actually walking was the tricky part, I think now I know how astronauts feel :) I apologize for the quality of the shots, most of these were taken by a cheapo single use underwater camera.

Most of these picturs from the hotel we stayed in: Riu Palace Las Americas. Hotel was amazing, best I've ever seen, and our room on the 6th floor was great too, with balcony and ocean view. After couple of Coronas and day at the beautiful beach it was a real paradise just to sit on the balcony and watch horizon for hours... Weather wasn't as nice as we hoped, as it was mostly clound and some rain, but we still managed to get some tan on the beach.

Temples and pyramids of the Maya. It was raining pretty much all the time, and sky was clouded so pictures didn't come out as nice as they could :( They also closed down main pyramid so we didn't get to climb it. But it was still pretty amazing! I couldn't understand much from what our tourguide told us, but fortunately we got it all on video for later decoding :)

There are no worlds to describe this place! Amazing just doesn't cut it. There are so many things to do and see at Xcaret, you'll be wishing that a day could last 48 hours. We walked on the ocean floor, swam in the underground river, and saw most amazing show... And we didn't get to see the half of things this place has to offer. Looks like we have to come back next year! :)

I took some pictures of the coral reaf from the glass bottom "Subsee Explorer", but not too many came out good. It's hard to shoot ocean bottom thru the glass, but I managed to take few cool shots on the way :)
