Sorrento has a bay beach also a surf beach,,or as we call it a back beach.

Bev found this spot with her walking group last year ,so my partner in crime Wallaby Jack and myself spent a few hours here. we hope to see what it looks like from the other end lol did not make it all to today,,,,, could be nice at sunrise amd sunset

This is the same spot as some of the dusk to dawn pictures, mid day is not the best light as you know to take pictures ,flowers from the sons garden birds on the bonnet of the car.

We picked the wrong day to visit here wet and stong winds, but was nice to see the forest from above Regards Roy and Bev

The weather was not the best plus the tide was out not much water under the Bridge for reflection either, The nesting Album was taken on the same day.....

This is the second time back here,both Jack and I like birds but was hard to find any nesting with eggs,it is a very easy walk as the board walk has been made near the cliff,there was also a lot of dead babys around and some adults nature at work but left those pictures out of the Album weather still not the best but the rain held off

Ducks Magpie and some Cockatoos Ibis Mud Larks and Galah's that make there self at home

Marysville was just one of the towns that was burnt out in the bush fires We thought it may be nice to take out some of the roses from home and take them up there, we left the girls in a big shopping centre and Jack and I took off to the hills,,,Via the Maroondah Resvr. the Black Spur then on to Marysville, pictures both taken bye Jack and myself we hope they tell the tale,,,one of the thing's we did notice was how the Statue's with stood the fires

Mornington Peninsula is in Victoria not to far from Melbourne, Port Phillip Bay on one side Western Port on the other side, to the south is Bass Strait there are many surf beach's along this part of the coast line, cattle fishing wineries, surfing sailing and golf are just some things you can do plus taking Pictures

Most of these are taken just on sunset or a little after when the refections start in the sky ,the second shot has a filter,to see how it would come out

This is rather a large Album as it covers a few years...Saftey Beach is 70k from Melbourne it was once called Shark Bay there was a meat works at one stage and left overs from the meat works found there way out to sea via a small stream and the sharks would feed close to shore. But now it is called Safety Beach, There is one shop a service station (servo) yact club and a boat ramp along the main road,,,,,,,most of these pictures have been taken a short walk from home..There are two small towns not far away a short drive or bus ride

A Wedding Reception that gets rather out of hand Natalie plays a young girl....

Sandringham College, near Melbourne presented a new version of Gilbert and Sullivans play The Pirates of Penzance ,,Natalie (granddaughter) was in the cast, my challenge was trying to take pictures with out using a flash,,, a long way back from the stage this time ,,plus Nat would not stand still when I did see her in the big cast,I hope to add some older school plays for Natalie and friends But you are wecome to take a look,,,,,,,,,And as always your comments are welcome also Regards Roy and Bev

I found this nest in a dark corner of my son's garage very little room beteen the roof and the nest so pre focused the camera on the ground stood back up on a box to take these close up pictures, Regards Roy

The most fun I have had with my Albums would have been Skippy on the Peninsula ,but this was time well spent, its a pity to think cats dogs and foxes will get most oh them

The 25th and 26 sunsets was worth a shot but the 30th looked unreal

Taken from the rear of the house overlooking 16th fairway ,the beach is a 10 min..walk from here.........

Some good rain at last in the far south of Australia green grass again and small the dam at the rear of the house now has water for the ducks and water birds to swim,as you know to have a great flower shot the flower has got to be just about perfect so no more rose pictures from us most of these have damage from rain and wind,,,But we love all your Spring Flowers Regards Roy and Bev

Halls Gap is west of Melbourne some of these pictures show the regrowth on the trees and plants after a bush fire the tall plants with the large black heads (common name black boys) We have never seen them in flower(white) as they only flower after along dry spell or a bush fire it was my lucky day deer roos flocks of birds took refuge in farm land in the Valley and looks like they have made there new home,,cockatoos are very noisey and can be heard from dawn to dusk as they fly up and down the valley

sunrise and sunsets do not hit this old quary the high sides of rock make shadows on either side ........ and it is hard to get it just right...................
