Yeah, that's basically how I feel about my locs . . . my life would suck without them! They're so much a part of me now, I can't imagine not having them right now.

11/11-3 months on my journey/4th month began
11/12- 7th DIY Wash/Retwist
11/24- 8th DIY Wash Retwist
November is my birthday month . . . so look forward to some birthday pics later in the month.
Anyway, I was in for a very, very pleasant surprise with my 11/12 retwist. My baby locs are very puffy/fat and soft. Every loc is budding except for the few affected by some improptu restructuring. I feel like I actually have locs now, lol. Also, now both of my parents know i'm loc'ing and they ask questions very now and then. I feel so free now.

As I complete 2 months on my journey, I see alot of changes going on. The look and feel of my baby locs has changed alot, in my opinion. I really like the way they look now.
Somebody stopped me on the street asking about my hair but before I could get excited, she asked me if she could give me her card b/c she does loc maintenance! LOL.

**Month 2**Love Loc'down -
9/11 is the one month mark on my journey to loc'dom! I last retwisted on 9/1 and on 9/9 I kinda greased my scalp and hair with a Shea Butter/Jamaican Black Castor Oil mix and it made them soft and my scalp felt good.
There are a few coils that always stand out to me when I feel the back of my hair- I call them my Locc-Stars, lol. I gave them each some solo time to shine, lol.
