I've been taking pics for the last few months, but haven't put them up yet. I figure it's about time. Lots of braids, twists, and more braids and twists.

Another year is coming to a close as my 4 year Nappiversary arrives (Dec. 18).

Another lazy month. Here's a few shots.

Lazy month overall, but I did do some cute styles here and there.

I'm doing some experimenting this month, and I like what I'm finding. Back on another protective styles challenge too. I'm trying to combat laziness and find the creativity in my twists and braids. Let's see how it goes.

After a month of hair neglect, I finally got back on track this month. I'm also excited to post a pic of my best twistout EVER!!

Continuing with the protective styles and derivatives

It's a New Year! I'm continuing the PSC that I started back in August 2006. My goal is to keep my hair in protective styles until June 2007. I'll be documenting styles and length retention.

I celebrated my 1 year nappiversary on Dec. 18. Actually I didn't really celebrate it because I totally forgot when the 18th rolled around. I participated in a protective style challenge for the month of December (the braids from last month carried over). I did wear my hair out for New Years Eve, but the plan is to do a PSC until my 2nd year perm free anniversary in April. Let's see how this goes!

The 2 month PSC was a success. I meant to continue it into October, but I was always too lazy to twist my hair. My favorite style this month was flat twists in the front and a puff in the back. Lot of fros. I finally got braids the 3 week in November. I plan on being in Protective Styles until the spring. I'm sick of dealing with my hair on a regular basis.
