I think my twists have been in since October 2008?

After flip-flopping back and forth about deciding to loc, I finally made my decision in December and just retwisted my roots in January. I've been wanting to loc for a while, but was uncertain because I thought I'd miss my loose hair. I just don't have the time to spend 7 or 8 hrs twisting my hair or spending time to wash my loose hair in sections. I wore my hair in twists for the entire year of 2008 and saw how convenient it was for me to just get up and go.

I plan to maintain my locs myself and I'm excited about this journey. :-)
