Brian, why couldn't you have left your comment a few days sooner? This Monaco had been for sale for about a year and a half. We tried selling it for as long as we could but no one seemed interested. Last Saturday we let it go for $100 to Monster Jams Inc., a production firm that presents monster truck races in arenas across the country. Right now this car is probably sitting at the Kay County fairgrounds somewhere in Oklahoma. That's where Monster Jams was putting on truck event this weekend. I'm afraid to think of what it will look like by Saturday night.

Sorry. You missed out on a real beauty of a Monaco. It was a shame to let her go but we just don't have the room for all these cars anymore.

Police Departments out here tend to keep their units for a very long time. I saw a news clip this past weekend with a Mesa PD Chevy Caprice from 93 or 94 during a tactical situation.

I think the CPD had all V6 engines and 4.10 gear ratios.

I know a Phoenix police officer in the south mountain district that still drives one of these on duty.

Does anyone know what size engine the Chicago Police used in their 89-93 Caprices ??,and maybe the gear ratio?? thanks again....
