Yup, thanks. It probably happened because we are looking at thumbnail size while editing the titles.

May want to double check this one. That is a Phoenix Police Car with the old graphics.

Thanks

Brian, why couldn't you have left your comment a few days sooner? This Monaco had been for sale for about a year and a half. We tried selling it for as long as we could but no one seemed interested. Last Saturday we let it go for $100 to Monster Jams Inc., a production firm that presents monster truck races in arenas across the country. Right now this car is probably sitting at the Kay County fairgrounds somewhere in Oklahoma. That's where Monster Jams was putting on truck event this weekend. I'm afraid to think of what it will look like by Saturday night.

Sorry. You missed out on a real beauty of a Monaco. It was a shame to let her go but we just don't have the room for all these cars anymore.

I would believe it.

Police Departments out here tend to keep their units for a very long time. I saw a news clip this past weekend with a Mesa PD Chevy Caprice from 93 or 94 during a tactical situation.

I think the CPD had all V6 engines and 4.10 gear ratios.

Guest Chris wrote: Monday, August 8, 2005 - 11:29

I know a Phoenix police officer in the south mountain district that still drives one of these on duty.

Guest Deputy Sam wrote: Sunday, August 7, 2005 - 16:24

Does anyone know what size engine the Chicago Police used in their 89-93 Caprices ??,and maybe the gear ratio?? thanks again....

And why would this question be left under a picture of a Mesa, AZ police car?

This is an '80 Gran Fury. '81's had stainless inserts on the "A" piller and "B" piller. One year only.

first of all, it's not Tia Juana, okay. You don't spell it like you say it. It's Tijuana. Secondly, I'd say that the cop is probably sniffing drugs or something.

Thirdly, who gives a rat's a$$?

Thanks for the brilliant comment.

Are you the same idiot who commented on the spelling of Tijuana? I'd suggest you check your grammar. "What the F" is a question and requires a question mark, not exclamation marks.

Yes it is, thanks. When we title photographs, we are looking at thumbnail size and sometimes it is hard to tell or our guess is wrong.

Mike

Ignore Tater he has no idea what were talking about because he never drove a box car caprice or any police car for that matter.

Guest Tater wrote: Friday, March 18, 2005 - 12:39

Well then. That's good enough for me. It's settled. The burning question of the ages has been answered by a guy named Mike who agrees with someone named Tpr1 that a 15 year old car was the best handling car ever. Thanks. I will sleep soundly tonight knowing this.

Guest Mike wrote: Friday, March 18, 2005 - 8:50

Yup. Tpr 1 is not kidding, best handling police vehicle ever...fast and cornered like it was on rails.

Guest Mike wrote: Friday, March 18, 2005 - 8:47

Now THAT's a good-lookin' police car.
