Tripp Light, single rotating reflector. They also made the same style, with a clear lens and adjustable spot light in the same housing. Had the light adjusting lever on the bottom of the assembly, which would protrude through the vehicle roof into interior.

Looks like this pic was taken at the old Clevland Municipal Stadium.

Ohio requires external markings and a roof mounted warning light on all units used for traffic enforcement, this meets the letter of the law, but looks like something out a bad B movie.

Reynoldsburg,OH police had a gold Dodge wagon with the same twinsonic & spot light around that time as an AIU. Its warning lights were different from all the other units. I think an insurance company both them for PD's

Gardena,CA police used lime green with 20 inch high foil "dayglow" lettering in the mid 1970's some people would call them cop cabs

Yes, that is what I was referring too. I've seen a few other departments that have the black trim on their 2003's and newer CVPI's.

I think Jake and Elwood stole those speakers to spread the word for their Blues Brother's concert and affixed them atop the trusty Dodge (bought cheap from the Mt Prospect, IL police auction) Monaco!

I love black and whites, but I don't know about this one. They should have put a larger version of their patch on the front door, or something. It looks too plain and unbalanced.

Better check again. That's a 1958! The '57 had a single headlamp that held the dim and bright beam.

Who needs a siren when you got those things! Just yell for people to move.

Anyone know WHAT kind of red warning light that is at the roof above the windshield (if it is one) or am I looking at the pic wrong?
