The EIVA Final match, GMU vs. Penn State at Rec Hall. The Patriots, with one of their stars, Hudson Bates at less than full capability because of a warm-up ankle sprain, played hard and well. Penn State, with their home crowd cheering them on, won the match in 3-0. Many GMU fans--parents, friends, and students--gathered at Rec Hall to cheer on GMU. Several GMU players--R.J. Goubeaux, Hudson Bates, and Kyle Gramit--received awards. Fred Chao, GMU Head Coach, received the Coach of the Year honors.
