Tucson is often refered to as "the lightning capital" of the world.. I don't know about that but, we do get some spectacular lightshows. I'm in the process of choosing four vantage points(North, South, East and West) around the Tucson metro area where lightning can be photographed without obstructions. I can then sit in an internet hotspot with Deb's laptop and choose the best incoming storms from radar data and zip over to the best vantage point when the time is right. That's the plan anyway :)
