Honda Civic Rebuild

Here's one I built years ago, and finally got sick of looking at the flaws in it, so I'm doing my first rebuild of one of my old kits. The interior came out good but not good enough, the upper grille (Which was the kit piece painted) always irked me, and the rear fascia had a big glob of superglue holding it in place on the passenger side. The Red and Black interior just didn't fit well at all with the Pearl Purple nail polish I used for the body, and I still don't know why I thought BMF painted with Tamiya Clear Yellow was a good idea for the trim. The pluses were the wired engine, the kit supplied carbon fiber decal on the hood went on beautifully, the head and taillight assemblies were beautiful, and the paint looked good, at least where there wasn't superglue marring it. So the paint was removed from the body and interior, the upper grille was removed from the front fascia, the Black inserts on the seats were masked off and sprayed instead of brush painted, and the body was repainted. I had some of the original Pearl Purple nail polish I had used on it, and added a Pearl Red to tie in the interior color. The rims will be left Gold, I think they'll fit better with the Red on the bottom, but I've been wrong before, see the first pics of this one for the proof! Here's the beginnings, let's see if the second time comes out like I want it to....
