He started his show carier at age 14+. He did quite well in English, park, and other things with Jim Curry. He later became Debra's safe trail horse through miles of hills (riding mostly by herself). He was athletic enough to canter down steep hills safely if necessary. At age 17, she rode him in a 3 day horse trials. Late that year, he broke a hind pasturn (in his stall) and survived a cast and a long lay up. Unfortunately, he died from injuries in an accident in 1978.
