H.C. Mingst Raffon
While hardly a 'rare' sire line (to Skowronek), his own direct male descendants are getting pretty scarce. His daughters, though, produced such well-represented sires as Fame VF and Huckleberry Bey.
Photo taken by H. C. Mingst (my father) during a legion of merit presentation for Raffon's son, Seyn Raffon. Raffon was in his twenties or so at this time.
Due to my personal life and health challenges, I cannot continue breeding her anymore. She is in excellent health, full of energy and really should be producing more wonderful foals. I hate to let such a treasure go, but with her lineage, I feel I am doing the Arabian world a disservice to keep her for myself just because I love to look at her.
I will let my adorable mare go to a good home where she will be carefully bred and kept on good pasture with other mares.
If interested, email me and I will send a photo. dlancashire@yahoo.com
