There is just something about Black Squirrels I simply love. Maybe it's because they are not that common. Every time I see one I have to try and take pictures of it.
Nice capture, come to the western part of Massachusetts the black squirrels almost outnumber the grey squirrels, again nice shot!! More so in Westfield Mass than the surrounding towns.

Absolutely gorgeous capture ,I have never seen a black squirrel before (well never seen a squirrel live we don't have them in New Zealand ) but this is the first time I have seen a photograph of one , thanks for the opportunity !
For the first time ever, I saw black squirrel, and thought I was seeing things. A week later, my sister saw one about a mile away form where I saw mine. Each were babies. We live in North Eastern NJ, blocks from NY State.
