One of two archetectural sculptures featured at Euclid Square Mall designed by Victor Pickett in 1977. This is the taller of the 2 sculptures in the court in the east wing of ESM. The fountain surrounding the sculpture is currently non-functional. Taken 1-7-06

    I also recall sitting there with my dad waiting for mom too shop....LOL

    No matter the weather, we saw the same people here day after day after day. Mostly old folks just sitting there waiting to die. I would go home from work and complain how these people would stand at the cosmetics counter and sicken me with tales of their surgeries and various ailments while I was trying to get my work done and my grandmother would snap, "That'll be you one day, missy!" Well, I guess not now that the mall's closed.

    Spent many a day sitting at this area as did my dad. Only in those days it wasn't facing Dillards, it was facing Higbee's.
