I also worked at the mall in the maintenance dept from 1987 to 1995. It was the best job I ever had. We had so much fun there it didn't even seem like a job. There was such a variety of things to do there. It's sad that it had to end. I remember one time there was a helicopter hovering over the mall. The one security guard there called the security director over the radio to ask what he should do about it. The security director came over the radio and told him to shoot it down. (security didn't carry guns at that time) So funny!

I worked security for almost 2 years in the early 90's, that mall was booming then. It really sucks to see that place go to pot. I remember going there as a kid in the mid 80's to hang out with friends, was the highlight of the weekend.

Too many great story's about working there as well. I used to friends of mine up to the roof to watch fourth of July fireworks. You literally see all the way to downtown. Great site, brings back great memories of the time and old friends.

I literally have some photos of me in the mall working security - while attending Euclid High wow how the years fly by....& at this entrance I have a photo of me with the security truck and the other officers I worked with ...sad how things get run down.
